Hello friends!
The new July kit at:
"Scraps of Elegance" click here is here!
I created two layout's using the beautiful "Prairie Chic" papers included in the kit -
My first creation is based on the gorgeous sketch by Charlotte Jenkins aka Suepup!
I used "Lindy's Stamp Gang" mist - "Caribbean Blue" available in the online store. I sprayed the pink "Prima" eyelet flower (available add on w/ the kit). I wanted the main colors of the layout to be blues, with touches of greens and whites. I added the beautiful butterflies from "Renea Bouquets".
I altered the chipboard "Gina's Designs" with "Shimmerz Texturz" and added "Bo Bunny" brads and "Liquid Pearls" to it.
I used mesh once again! Cheap but I love the effect. I heat embossed the chipboard chicken wire by "Gina's Designs".
I did some stitching and added drips of hot glue to this layout. I got the idea from Vivian Keh - "Scraps of Darkness" educator. Thank you Vivian! The bottom part of this layout is mixed media.
My next creation I used (once again) the Bo Bunny "Prairie Chic" papers. I normally don't like scrapping pic's of myself but this pic of me in my jean jacket just fit these papers. I'm really having fun using the "Shimmerz" Texturz on my projects!
I figured that using "Shimmerz" to give the "mortar" effect went well with these papers. The bottom left corner of the paper looks like an old mortared stone/brick wall. All I needed yet was that awesome brick stamp. I didn't purchase that yet.
I used the cute little envelope from "Maya Road" and added little goodies to it:
Burlap, "Bo Bunny" (brads, stars, birds) and those adorable crochet flowers.
I just love the shutters from "Prima" by Ingvid Bolme.
Thank you for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day -
Don't forget to stop by the forum "Scraps of Elegance "click here because I will be having an awesome texture challenge this month! Break out the Shimmerz, molding paste, gesso and have fun with it!
Your layouts are beautiful with awesome details and textures. I love that little stuffed envelope!
