Good Morning! It's Friday and over at the Shoe is a great challenge (Distress, Bling, Flowers).  I had a fabulously fun time creating this layout for the Design Team Challenge. Go check out the creations of my fellow Design Team members by clicking above!  Join in on the fun over at the Shoe! 

This layout was created using "Prima" papers and florals.  I used "Tim Holtz" distress ink and crackle paint around the edges of the card stock to give a distressed look.  I used a "Fiskars" scalloped edge punch on the pink card stock and distressed the edges.  Hand stitching with brown embroidery thread on the left side of the layout.  Liquid pearls was used to create swirls to the left of the layout.  I painted "Liquid Leaf" (classic gold) around the edges of florals, distressed card stock, border and "Dusty Attic" chipboard to give it an aged look.

Now let's create that beautiful scalloped lace border that frames the photo.

You will need pink card stock and a "Fiskars" punch.

Cut the punched paper with a "Fiskars" paper cutter around 1" to 2" inch thick and then add "Tim Holtz" Distress ink, a paint brush and "Liquid Leaf" classic gold.

I used a paint brush to add the distress ink because I feel I have more control with a brush.  After I'm done distressing I add the "Liquid Leaf" in classic gold.
