Good Sunday Morning Friends!
Today I'm sharing a layout based on the gorgeous November sketch by Suepup from the "Scraps of Elegance" click here
This month's kit features festive colors and elements to create an autumn inspired or holiday layout, card, tag, and more!
When I saw the sketch I knew I wanted to add a photo of my mom.
I used the beautiful Webster's Pages papers "Family Traditions collection" for this layout. I loved the bright cheerful colors and wanted to add a photo of my mom I recently had taken standing in amongst some Golden Rod....You know Autumn is almost here when that is in bloom. I love to see the fields of Golden Rod in bloom. I think my mom looks great in the photo and I know she won't agree. She is now 80 years old and in good health. She's my best friend.
I used paper drywall tape as a stencil and then added it to the project. I received the color add on "Lindys Stamp Gang" for this kit and used it on the stenciling and tape.
I also sprayed the wood flowers by "Prima" with "Lindy's Stamp Gang" and added them throughout the layout.
I did some machine stitching around the layout to add some interest.
I also used the 6" x 6" "Prima" stencil that is included in this month's kit.
To create the orange I added "Lindy's Stamp Gang" to the modeling paste for color.
Stop on by the "Scraps of Elegance" click here and grab this wonderful kit! It's full of gorgeous colorful papers, flowers and embellishments!
Have a wonderful day!
So gorgeous and I just hope I look half as good as your Mom does at 80!
