VICTORIAN ROSE

Design Team Project

I have a passion for Victorian style.  The Victorian Era was a time of flair, imagination and innovation.  I get inspiration from the Victorian "Queen Anne" architecture.  The architecture from that time period is ornamented with many ornate, fanciful details and has much character.  Victorian decor is romantic, ornate and excessive which I love!  I created this Victorian inspired page using "Pink Paislee" papers from their Butterfly Collection.  The majority of supplies can be purchased at the
"Flying Unicorn".

I went crazy with "Utee" clear embossing powder and  "Liquid Leaf" classic gold.  I embossed chipboard, flowers, cut work, and punch work.  The "Pink Paislee" wood veneer ornaments were painted with "Liquid Leaf" classic gold and then heat embossed with "Utee".  It was an experiment and I loved the end result(distressed golden texture).  A tutorial will be coming in the near future!
