ANTIQUED BAROQUE MINI ALBUM PART 1

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Today I'm sharing (part 1) details of my mini album I'm working on from:

~Scraps of Elegance~
Simply Shabby Chic Special Edition Project Add On

2 page
I used images I purchased from "Moonlight Journey".  The flowers, lace, paper was included in this month's kit and the project add on.  I sprayed the green flowers with "Lindy's Stamp Gang mists.......

This project is taking longer because I'm dry embossing pages and then going over the details with embossing powder and heating it.  I'm using the travel/map inspired "Prima" from the "Delight Collection" included in this month's kit.  I sprayed them with two different copper colored mists.

I added copper acrylic paint to a stamp seen below the image.  I went over various area's with a "Prima" stencil.  I mixed molding paste and copper paint and applied over the stencil.
I highlighted the stencil area when dried with a deep red acrylic painters pen.
I was inspired by a "Baroque" gate when I started this project.  I just happened to have 4 images from "Moonlight Journey"  - "Baroque Tags".
I was going for a weathered/antiqued  effect with touches of verdigris.  I'm not sure how anyone else creates this effect but I just added a bluish/green paint (I had on hand) with my fingers to the dark copper embossed gate.  I highlighted the gate with a lighter copper acrylic paint.
Stay tuned there is a lot more to come.  I'm also working on a video tutorial (no voice) just captions (hopefully).......I'm showing embossing techniques on this gate and dry embossing/antiquing the papers.

Thank you for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!
