Hey Scrappers! MISS YOU!

I wanted to update my blog for the past month and just didn't find the time.  I have been missing in action since September 7th due to flooding in the Northeast.  My husband and I have been EXTREMELY busy gutting our house and cleaning up.  I had to say good-bye to "The Flying Unicorn" and "Shawn Davis Designs" .  My scrappy goodies are not accessible at this time.  My plan is to be scrapping by the end of January 2012.  I have some photo's showing the beginning process to where we are now.  It's frustrating, stressful and a long drawn out process but I'm confident things will get better.

I'm truly looking forward to getting back to creating and I miss each and every one of you.

Below are photo's I took of the flood damage.

My living room the day after.  Water picked up my furniture and moved it.  You can see the water line on the brown chair.  Items from the kitchen and dining room were washed in to the living room.
Basement full of mud
National Guard to pick up damage
Where we are now:

Day after flood

As you can see, there is no time for scrapping.  I promise to be back a.s.a.p.

MISS YOU! XXX's

Oh my goodness Mandy...Having gone through his myself some years ago,I know the devastation and frustration a flooded house and property are first hand..No bueno..My prayers are with you that you recover quickly. It is heartbreaking to say the least. Your pictures are a harsh reminder that we cant control mother nature. But with hard work, and willing heart, you will rebuild. Dont let this get you down. Keep a light heart and before you know it, you will be scrapping your beautiful designs in no time.
