WINTER CHILL - DECEMBER CHALLENGE - BERRY71BLEU

Happy Hello Friends!

 

  I am hosting this month's fun "Winter Chill" Mood Board Challenge at Berry71Bleu click here

This challenge is about celebrating the breathtaking array of fresh fallen show and ice that is abundant this time of year. Whether you are a snow bunny or prefer to sit inside by a fire, we want to see how you cope with the winter chill!

I was inspired to create three tags using the gorgeous images from Gecko Galz; this month's design team sponsor! Thank you!

When I see a combination of icy blues, cool whites and deep purples it's not hard to imagine a bone chilling winter....The images have a mix of those cool hues so I decided to create "Lady Winter" tags....



I up-cycled by using discarded craft paper packaging.

I stenciled on some snowflake looking petals and added a thin painted wooden snowflake ornament to the back of two of the tags....

 The marabou feathers go a long way for a very low price!  I'd just pinch tufts of feathers off and hot glue them to various places accenting the flowers and beads...

I love the digital "Mandala" stamps provided by Gecko Galz!  I wanted to create one tag showing the stamp background as seen below.
