Hi Scrappy Friends!
Today I'm sharing a "Scraps of Elegance" (click here) design team project that went in "somewhat" of a different creative direction......I started this page using "Kaisercraft" paper included in the kit. It was a cream white background paper. I knew I was "once again" going to use the "Blue Flame" Silks Acrylic Glaze that was available with the add on for the kit......Well as you can see I loaded it on everywhere!! All the black flowers you see were included with the flower add on...I'm not sure if this project would be considered grunge or just plain fun!!! I just kept adding color and color.....Anyway, "Mister" aka "Mi" looks like he's one cool cat so I decided to call this project "Cool Cat"....When I took this recent photo of him, he was wrapped up in a fluffy black blanket so I grunged up the photo with "photoshop".....
I took apart the "Pink Chandelier Garland" by "Magnolia" included in the kit and painted it with the "Blue Flame Acrylic Glaze"......
I really didn't want to alter one of the gorgeous butterflies by "Renea bouquets" so I altered just one of them to match this project....
The golden highlights you see throughout the project is from last month's kit by Viva - "Gold" rub....
As always, I added beading from my bead stash.....I don't think I can go without adding beads to any of my projects anymore....
Stop on by "Scraps of Elegance/Scraps of Darkness" (click here).....I'm hosting a tag trade this month and next month in the forum. Also, check out the gorgeous kits from both clubs! If you love to dabble with mixed media than this place is for you!
Have a great day!
