I was inspired by this month's gorgeous sketch by Suepup to add a photo of my mom I had taken early last fall while the "Golden Rod" were in bloom....
I used "Bo Bunny" papers, stickers and embellishments included in this month's kit - I added many paper handmade petals to this layout....I added Tulip dimensional paint in the centers of the flowers...
I had fun with the background adding gesso, stamping, mists and distressing the paper edges by ripping and curling it...
I used and Xacto knife and cut out the little hexagons and added some "Bo Bunny" letter stickers.....
I also cut out the 2nd piece of the "Bo Bunny" paper and added butterflies to the left of the page.....I did some mixed media work on each butterfly...
My next project is a feminine card I created using the "Bo Bunny" collection included in this month's kit:
I layered a piece of tulle I received from a previous kit to soften the card and give it a romantic/feminine touch....
I added some gesso and misting to accent the pale greens and mauves...
The brown ribbon included in the kit was a perfect match for this card!
We'd love to see your creations on the new Scraps of Darkness/Scraps of Elegance Facebook group! Com'n join in on the fun! Beautiful inspiration!
Don't forget to grab this gorgeous kit!

I love these projects, Mandy! I love butterflies and I love the technique you used to highlight them. Your homemade flowers are so pretty, too.
